I go through files, keeping only the necessary papers. 

Double checking clothes and shoes; seeing what fits, deciding what should be taken now and what can wait.  Tossing anything not worth mending or that seems to have gone out of style.

i went and visited zondervan last week…i may or may not have gotten a few extra advance copies of mad church disease.

While I enjoy those of you who do Feel Good Friday - I'd much rather not participate myself.  Melancholy Monday? Now, especially recently,  that's something a little more up my alley.

The most melancholy song I've heard as of late is one a friend wrote, that I obviously can't share, but it touched me somewhere deep.

10 years ago i was a manager at a family christian store in the dallas area. we had our annual sales conference in grand rapids and went to visit the FCS home office.

little did i remember, the FCS home office and zondervan’s offices are in the same building. so yesterday, when i walked into zondervan, it was like a crazy flash back. who would have known i would be back?
