The day after the election the media talked about Obama’s landslide. Some spoke about Omaba’s “mandate.” Many are talking about this election as being a repudiation of the past and a political realignment.

Stop and think about it for a second. I doubt that either John McCain or Barack Obama can hope be anything other than a one-term president.

They will face the largest deficit ever, not even counting the extra $1 Trillion dollar bailout added last week. Not even our great-grandchildren will see the end of this debt if we do nothing else but pay it off.
