**This is my final repost of last year. This is my favorite. Because in October an amazing thing happened. I held a conference. {brain explodes} It was amazing. I fell in love with about 75 women. I wanted to share some of the things that I took away from our weekend.**

In early June we packed up our stuff and moved out of the dream house. We moved in with family for a few weeks while Mr. Smartypants continues to interview. This holiday season I learned:

- It's not a good Christmas unless somebody cries - as opposed to childhood when it was a good Christmas if nobody did.

- My mother thinks I left because I was bored.

- My brother is, as always, hysterical.

1) Spend more money than you make to give your children everything their hearts desire. Tell yourself that you do this because you want to give them a happy childhood. If all their friends have it, it would be wrong not to give them the same things. Even though the more you buy for them, the more they complain of boredom.
