hiatus

As you may have noticed, I have been on hiatus, mostly because I have overloaded on outrage fatigue and simply just needed a break. The Gaza situation, though, has been weighing heavily on my mind, a little more than it usually would, because I know a woman that lives near the Gaza border.

I'm back from the vacation (fun time, but I think my end of the family is a little too ADD to keep doing this type of trip now that Ben and I have more or less grown up) and officially off of hiatus. I'm playing catch-up on the news, and I'm starting with Caroline Kennedy.

In short--no.

When I was but a wee lad growing up in the grumpiest state in the nation - Michigan - we used to make regular trips to one of the sweetest cities in Ohio - Sandusky - in order to partaaay at Cedar Point.  I've got plenty of fond memories of the rides and happenins there, especially the coasters.  

I'm enjoying a brief hiatus with friends and family over the holidays.

Knoxville-area tourism took a major hit as American Honda announced its plans to cancel the 2009 Honda Hoot because of the current economy.

It's true, after finishing my Property exam at 4:30 this afternoon, I was officially over my first semester of law school! I came out (relatively) unscathed. We'll see how truly unscathed I really was once I get my grades back in January.

I’ve been blogging for more than three years now, and although my frequency has varied a lot over the years, I’ve never really had to stop blogging (except that one month a few years ago when my blog didn’t exist!).

We interrupt your regularly scheduled hiatus so that I can weigh in on something I probably shouldn't get involved in, but am anyway.

It was bound to come to this sooner or later.
