I want to take the time to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and let you know that we are open Christmas eve until 6pm and then reopen on Christmas day at 3pm going 24 hours until next Thanksgiving. Remember that we are now booking for our fabulous New Years Eve parties. Call 355-0501 for more info.

The City of Knoxville is raising parking rates at its six downtown parking garages in 2009. Daily rates will increase to $1 per hour with a maximum of $7, except at the Coliseum where the daily maximum will remain $5. Monthly rates will increase $5 at the Locust Street, Market Square, Main Avenue, State Street, and the Coliseum garages.

The Metro School Board has narrowed the search for Director down to three finalists. Two candidates will be interviewed on Saturday and one on Sunday. The interviews are scheduled from 9-11 and 11:15-1:15pm on Saturday for Doris McEwen and Jesse Register, and Sunday from 4-6pm with Santiago Wood. Follow up interviews with favorable candidates could occur on December 10th or 12th.

Many moons ago, the day after Thanksgiving used to be one of my favorite days, ever.

Everyone's family obligations were over, and we were all free and clear to "go out".

People were in town from being away at school, and as we got older, everyone came home from their new lives elsewhere and it was time to reminisce.

It's that time of year again and we want to wish everyone a happy holiday season. our hours are as follows:

Wednesday night we will be closing around 4 to 5am so our employees can enjoy the holiday with family.

Thanksgiving day we will be opening at 3pm and going 24 hours until Dec 24th.

Dec 24th we will be open until 6pm and reopen on Christmas day at 3pm.

All are welcome to attend the First Annual Knoxville Overground Startup Awards ceremony at the World Grotto in Market Square tomorrow on the 19th. The doors open at 6PM and the ceremony for 13 award-winning startups starts at 7PM. Raffle prizes are being given out after that.
