Actually, the report says the RIAA "quietly fired the RIAA months ago." MediaSentry has begun to phase out its controversial evidence collection arm.

For a year or so I’ve been getting what I assumed was spam email about some bridge in Australia.

Tonight I finally looked it up, and they have my email address (an email address I only use for lists, etc) listed as the contact email.

Finally. For not coming to a complete stop before turning right on a red light. It's not the $50 fine that bothers me; it's that 2/3 of the fine (about $33) leaves the Knoxville economy. The notice of fine was received from Zip 85260 and is payable to Zip 44101. Who knows how much winds up in Australia.
