I couldn't go to the Obama rally that drew 100,000 people here in St. Louis yesterday because I'm still inflicted with "the plague", as one of my classmates referred to it, and I didn't think that standing outside in the cold for six hours would be helpful (you know, you would think, after four years in Ithaca, the threshold for what I consider to be cold would be a little higher.
