At the beginning of the year, the RC Cola and Moon Pie Festival, held every year in Bell Buckle, TN, was my #1 priority of the event I wanted to see this year. Admittedly, I'm not really a huge fan of either RC or Moon Pies, but this festival is, in my opinion, small town southern charm at its best. It was held Saturday, June 21, 2008.

To prohibit or not prohibit alcohol at after-hours clubs is a moot question.

The hippie icon is voting Democrat again:

I have had my ups and downs with organized religion, let me tell you. I was raised a catholic as a child but left the church by the age of 14.

The Born-Again Hippie has put up a couple of musical slideshows with vintage pictures of a lot of Memphis players.  Go see 'em.

If you are wondering, which I’m sure you were, I think I have a low-burning ADD. My oldest niece has this as well. She turns 12 next week and I’m afraid she’s turning out a bit like me much to sister Homer’s dismay.
