My thanks to Metro councilmen who aren't afraid to have citizens actually vote on how their government should be run. I'm appalled at the lengths some of these councilmen, election commission members, our mayor, a judge and others have gone through to keep we the people from actually entering into the process.

God, Michael “Juvenile Catchphrase” Gerson is an annoying [bleep]. Ever since the Bush Administration began unmistakably spiraling the drain, he’s been on a crusade to make his career to date look like not as much of a mistake as it has unquestionably been.

We’re hearing a lot of last-ditch delusion from the right in the closing days of the campaign. Most of it, of course, is just whistling past the graveyard. But whether these people believe their own bull[bleep] or not, they present themselves to the world as ostensibly knowledgeable and clear-headed political thinkers.

A) It doesn't matter what causes global climate change, simply that we do something to fix it. Not, apparently, understanding that what causes it is directly related to how we "fix" it.
