It’s time travel Monday.

When it comes to tech news and punditry, my news in-box (primarily, an RSS newsreader called NetNewsWire), is filled with items that make me think I’ve gone asleep for 20 years, but unlike Rip Van Winkle, I woken up to discover nothing has changed.

i don't know about you, but i've never seen all of 'thief in the night'.. it was brought up at our cohort on thursday as part of the discussion. so for some reason i was thinking..

I think in trying to prove that ideal are valuable he actually proved that they are indeed worthless (i.e. they have no real monetary value)

I really liked what John McCain said about the lessons he learned as a POW and his desire to stop living for himself and living for his country. I think that’s a great message, and I’m sure it resonates with a lot of people. It may actually help him that he doesn’t deliver this message with a tone that implies empty rhetoric.
