American music critic, manager and record producer Jon Landau once famously declared that he had seen the future of rock and roll and its name was Bruce Springsteen. Well, I have seen the future of the Republican Party tonight, and its name is Sarah Palin.

Through the magic of Youtube I was able to watch Sarah Palin’s speech at the Republican National Convention. She did very well–she was able to defend herself and McCain with class as well as deliver some major barbs at Obama and the Democrats without sounding hateful. She certainly wowed those at the convention and, I’m sure, conservatives across America.

A new online network has been established to connect business professionals in the Nashville area. Merrell Ligons, Director of Interactive Media at News Channel 5, created NSIDE Nashville Business to foster business relationships and the exchange of ideas in the local market.
